Saudi Arabia Modernizing Islamic Antiquities
Oct 28th, 2012 by Rasheed

October 2012: Historic sections of Mecca and Medina have been bulldozed to make way for gleaming shopping malls, luxury hotels and enormous skyscrapers. The British Independent newspaper quotes the Washington-based Gulf Institute, which estimates that “95 per cent of the 1,000-year-old buildings in the two cities have been destroyed in the past 20 years.” The house of Mohammed’s first wife, Khadijah, has been replaced with a public toilet block, it reports.Islam’s early history is being modernized due to the Saudi regime’s adoption of Wahabism, an austere stream which scorns all forms of idol worship, including shrines and pilgrimages to graves, the paper explains.

Three of the world’s oldest mosques are about to be demolished in Medina as Saudi Arabia embarks on a multi-billion-dollar expansion of Islam’s second holiest site. Work on the Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, where the prophet Mohammed is buried, will start once the annual Hajj pilgrimage ends next month. When complete, the development will turn the mosque into the world’s largest building, able to take in 1.6 million worshippers. The spot that marks the Prophet’s tomb is covered by a famous green dome and forms the centerpiece of the current mosque. Under the new plans, it will become the east wing of a building eight times its current size with a new pulpit. There are fears that the redevelopment of the Masjid an-Nabawi is “part of a wider drive to shift focus away from the place where Mohammed is buried,” the newspaper states.

Illegal Arab Palestinian Mansions In Israel
Sep 8th, 2012 by Rasheed

September 2012: If you are wondering where your countries foreign aid tax dollars are being spent, then the photos below will give you some idea of how Palestinian leaders spend foreign aid on themselves. Although Arab Palestinian populations complain about not having enough spending money most of them live in luxury without having to work a day in their lives, thanks to foreign aid.
The next time you shed tears and feel compassion for the “poor” Palestinians remember that they are not all poor but greedy and will always demand more because they can get away with it. Of course they don’t want to become Israeli citizens in a one state solution because this would mean they would have to work and contribute to society. A two state solution will always guarantee them free foreign aid at the expense of western nations going bankrupt and being challenged with an economic crisis.
A number of foreign donors who have promised aid have not yet made good on their pledges, particularly a number of those from the Arab world. Of those who have, some have withheld a portion of what was promised. In the case of the United States, some of the delay may be connected with the fact that the PA does not always use the funds granted for the intended projects.
Moreover, a significant percentage of the PA budget is drained by the monthly “salaries” paid to reward terrorist  inmates detained in Israeli prisons, rather than used to create new national infrastructure, improve schools and so on. In fact, the PA this month granted a “pay hike “ to those who murdered Israelis, spending about six percent of its annual budget – $4.5 million per month – and another $6.5 million to their families, according to a report broadcast earlier this month of Israel’s Channel 2 television. The monthly salaries total NIS 12,000 (approx. $3,000) for anyone who has served more than 30 years in jail for murdering  Israelis. They are even higher for those with Israeli citizenship, according to the report.
Western democratic societies can not support millions of non working lazy people indefinitely. As long as we all fall for the poor me propaganda of tyrants, the hard working ordinary people are the ones who suffer and live pay cheque to pay cheque to support this nonsense.
In the near future western democratic foreign aid will end and only those countries which live in a peaceful democratic manner will be assisted for short terms.

The Arab Middle East’s Most Notable “First Wives.”
Jul 1st, 2012 by Rasheed

Syria:

The 36-year-old, university educated Asma Assad is the British-born wife of Syrian President Bashar Assad. She was born to a prominent Syrian family and grew up in the affluent west London suburbs. Before the uprising that erupted in Syria last year, her image as an attractive and sophisticated woman helped boost Assad’s own as a modernizer. An article in Vogue in March, 2011, published just as protests began, hailed her as a “Rose in the Desert.” EU foreign ministers have since slapped sanctions on her, and she has been criticized for standing by Assad.

Qatar:

Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser is the most prominent of the three wives of the Emir of Qatar. The university educated Sheikha Moza has been ranked by Forbes magazine among the world’s 100 most powerful women. She is believed to have influenced policies through the Qatar Foundation, which she heads. The 52-year-old is mother of seven children. Rated in Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed List last year, Sheikha Moza is widely known for her elegance and expensive custom-made designer clothes. While she covers her hair with a turban in line with Islamic custom, her form-hugging dresses and lavish jewels stand out among the black robes worn by many women in Gulf Arab countries.

Jordan:

Queen Rania, born to Palestinian parents in Kuwait and educated at the American University in Cairo, is mother of four children with King Abdullah II of Jordan. She is active on Twitter and has her own YouTube channel to raise awareness about education and other social issues. She has written a children’s book to promote cross-cultural dialogue. The 42-year-old is considered one of the world’s most attractive women, according to Harper’s and Queens magazine. Her Western, high-end style has landed her among the world’s best dressed women.

Egypt:

The 50-year-old, bespectacled Naglaa Ali Mahmoud, also known as Umm Ahmed, is a longtime Muslim Brotherhood member along with her husband, Egypt’s newly elected Islamist president, Mohammed Morsi. She has a high school diploma and once worked in the United States as translator. The mother of five does not dress in the coiffed and polished style of Egyptian first ladies before her, instead donning a long, traditional headscarf and black abaya, or robe, worn by many women in Egypt’s impoverished villages and towns. She told The Associated Press she does not want to be called “first lady,” rather Egypt’s “first servant.”
